Can you dig it? volleyball CAMP

All Skills Volleyball Camp emphasizes training the fundamentals and progressive knowledge and skill development of volleyball.
​Beyond the sports, SEL, youth leadership development, confidence building, and sportsmanship/team-building strategies will be embedded within the program.  Camp will utilize the principles of the athlete development model to progressively implement skills session.   Sports include not limited to:​
Camp Schedule:
Morning Session: 9:00 – 11:30 am
Lunch Break: 11:30 – 12:30 pm
Afternoon Session: 12:30 – 4:00 pm

Free Agent: Is a player not already attached to a high school team.  Player will be grouped with other free agent players to create a team.   
  • FREE AGENT: $75/ player Early Bird Deadline - May 31st 
  • $100/player after early bird deadline.

TEAM COST: $500
A coach or team rep can register up to 12 players. Each player will receive a game jersey and t-shirt.

July 2 -League SCRIMMAGE
All teams and players report by 6:00 pm - Scrimmage play to seed teams
The schedule will be emailed to the team representative and posted on the DCPGSports.com/summer website
League Playing Site:
​ATHLETIC REPUBLIC 6417 Marlboro Pike Capitol Heights, Maryland
Number of Courts: 2-3
Number of Teams Accepted:  16
Time frame: 2.5 hours- Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Sanction: AAU 

Registration:
Space is limited to 16 teams. The deadline for registration is June 15. The maximum roster size is 12 players and 2 teams per school. Players may register as free agents and be placed on a team (paired by school, skill level, and/or position). 

Format: 
2 games to 25, starting at 4 points, pool play. A minimum of 4 players must be present to begin the match. 10-minute grace period after which a forfeit will be declared 25-0. The official will provide an additional 10 minutes for the team to produce sufficient players for the next set. If the team has a minimum of players present prior to the expiration time, play will begin immediately. If after the time expires and the team does not have the minimum number of players to play, the second set shall be declared a forfeit as well 25-0. The home team will provide line judges only.
